Safe and Sustainable Water Conference

An entire day of presentations and workshops designed to help Indian NGO’s overcome the legal, technical, financial, and cultural barriers to clean water.

WDA’s Safe and Sustainable Water Conference on 19 March 2008 at the Nehru Science Centre in Mumbai aspires to be an informative and engaging day for Indian NGOs working to solve water access issues can come together to learn from national presenters as well as their peers. The conference will take place over one day, with the morning dedicated to presentations and lectures and the afternoon focusing on more dynamic and interactive workshops. There is only a minor cost of attendance to participants, Rs 200 per attendee, and the fee will be waived for those who demonstrate financial need. Travel scholarships will also be available.

For those NGOs in need of financial assistance for travel and/or lodging, there is a separate travel scholarship application [DOC | PDF] that must be sent by 15 February 2007.
